Naturescape is a 'Wildflower Farm', meaning they grow and cultivate wildflowers for seed and plant sales. But it's not really a 'farm' in the normal sense, more a collection of meadows and habitats all with slightly different conditions to encourage different wildflowers to grow.
The dragonfly pond is fairly small, but does live up to it's name in the Late Spring and Summer months. I visited in August and the were loads of huge dragon flies hovering around the water and reeds.
All the meadows, walks and ponds are fully open to the public with nice wide grass paths around the various areas. In Spring and Summer when the flowers are in bloom, it's a really lovely colourful place to visit, plus it's totally free to park and walk around the meadows!
There's a nice cafe where you can sit outside in the cottage garden near a lilly pond - there are also a few tables indoors. Naturescape also sell the wildflower seeds and plants at a small shop.
A lovely place to spend a few hours on a sunny afternoon.
