Nottinghamshire Wallpaper Pictures 1
Nottinghamshire is my home County, I live in the city center of Nottingham. Large parts of North Nottinghamshire are still covered by Sherwood Forest, which is not the great forest it was 100's of years ago, but still beautiful.
Nowadays Sherwood Forest isn't really one large forest but a collection of smaller forests, woods and parks, like -
Clumber Park,
Newstead Abbey,
Rufford Park and
The Major Oak visitor center and park.
The desktop wallpapers are free for personal use only. You may not use them for commercial purposes or redistribute them.
Natural places of interest nearer the Nottingham city center include
Wollaton Park,
Nottingham University Park (High Fields),
Greens Windmill and
Colwick Park. A large section of the River Trent runs through Nottinghamshire creating many natural beauty spots - Holme Lock,
Gunthorpe Lock,
Newark on Trent (castle & locks) etc.
Lots more info about Nottinghamshire is featured on the Days Out in Nottinghamshire Page.
