North Norfolk coast. Even though it's on the east coast, Hunstanton's vast sandy beach actually looks west over the Wash. So you could see the sunrise from Cromer (slightly further around the coast) and the go to Hunstanton for the sunset. Hunstanton has beautiful, large flat sandy beaches very nice wooden break waters. (see pic to the below). There are also cliffs around this area of the Norfolk coast, a rare thing in East Anglia. |
Hunstanton one of the largest 'holiday' towns on the North Norfolk Coast (along with Cromer), but it hasn't been spoiled by too many amusement arcades & tacky gift shops. |
